What does the course comprise of?
The Upskilling training course currently consists of two units:
Unit 1 – Physical Intervention Skills
Unit 2 – Safety Awareness for Door Supervisors
What is the assessment method?
Unit 1 will be assessed in two parts. Part one currently consists of a practical test, and part two of the unit is a written true/false test.
Unit 2 will be assessed by the completion of a 10-question multiple-choice examination.
What will I receive after the course?
Learners who successfully pass the Upskilling training course will receive a certificate through our warding body which has no expiry date.
Does the certificate expire?
The successful completion of the Upskilling course will enable you to renew your SIA Licence for a further 3 years
