Vehicle Loading Crane Training is designed to give the trainee the knowledge and skills to operate an VLC safely. The course is a competency based face-to-face training.
Participants will show competency by passing both theory and practical Assessments. It is a Work Health Safety Requirement for the Participants to be able to read and write Basic English.
The Participants will receive a Statement of Attainment and a small wallet sized plastic card when the Participants are deemed to be competent.
This unit covers conducting Vehicle Loading Crane operations in the construction, civil construction, resources industries.
It includes planning and preparing; conducting machine pre-operational checks; operating the VLC ; attaching, securing, lifting and placing materials; selecting, removing and fitting attachments; relocating the Vehicle Loading Crane; carrying out machine operator maintenance; and Shutting down VLC. cleaning up.
