For the delegate to be able to deliver their own courses in safe vehicle marshaling to operatives. Including regulations, hazards, pre-operation checks, effective communication methods, common errors, signs and signals. This course is suitable for beginners, up to experienced practitioners. We incorporate all levels of experience within the training.

Our open courses are held at our training center Unit 1, Adams House, Northampton Science Park, Kings Park Road, Moulton Park Industrial Estate, Northampton, NN3 6LG.

Basic overview of the Signs and Signals Regulations
The hazards of vehicle marshalling and why have training
Pre- Operation Checks
Communication methods between marshal and driver
Practical signs and signals training

Assessment of trainees
Assessment Criteria:
There is a short written test and the trainees will be assessed on the practical element.
The training involves candidate participation with the emphasis on the practical element of the training.
On day two the candidate will carry out a practical training session on which they will be assessed.

City and Guilds Profile of Achievement:
The candidate will complete a pre-course questionnaire, a mid-course interview and post-course questionnaire to fulfill the requirements of the City and Guilds Profile of Achievement criteria.
Trainer’s Pack:
Candidates will receive a full trainer’s pack including software with PowerPoint, lesson plan and all course materials required to deliver the course.
