Born in Seattle by local architects and artists passionate about children’s education and creative play, BEAM Experiences offers hands-on guided learning for grades 1-8.
Our curriculum is STEAM based (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) with a focus on creativity, exploration and experimentation.
Students in this class will learn how to build and program an autonomous robot using LEGO® Mindstorms® EV3 technology. Their new skills will be used to solve real-world problems and help the town after a natural disaster.
In this course, students are introduced to Java, which is used for everything from enterprise software to web and mobile apps, and by companies like Microsoft and Intel. They’ll learn object-oriented programming and discover even more versatility with their coding.
Understanding different programming makes a better programmer and with that in mind, at RobotiX Institute, we are organizing several camps for computer-based learning. Kids will be exposed to easy block programming and several vital programming languages like JavaScript.
Get immediately hands-on with the Robot Set and software, exploring the boundless world of robotics and engineering. Combining intuitive drag-and-drop programming with the possibilities of the coding system, this exploratory experience encourages teamwork, friendship, and creativity.
This class is an introduction to building and programming robots using the LEGO® EV3™ Robotics system. Students will learn mechanical design, construction, programming and teamwork skills.
