The Vocal Studies Program is divided into six 10-week quarters of study. The first four quarters cover the basics of musicianship, exposure to important musical styles, and the opportunity to gain experience rehearsing and performing in a live band setting.
Semesters five and six give each student the opportunity to apply what they have learned, in the live performance arena as well as the recording studio. Each student produces six original or cover songs for use in their own professional and promotional material.
Here at The Collective, we are dedicated to teaching you to become the musician everyone wants to play with. You can develop the skills to play with anyone, at any venue, in any style. That’s why we exist: To prepare you to work as a professional musician.
Our method works! We’ve been one of the top choices for musicians looking to expand their performance skills for forty years. We’re only for passionate players!
Studying at The Collective is an intense experience. We have high expectations of our students. But if you love your instrument, and you’re willing to work hard in your lessons and classes, you’ll leave here with all the tools necessary to work as a musician in the real world!
One of the things that makes us different is our Faculty. They’re all World Class Musicians. Our teacher to student ratio is 1/5, which means that you’ll get individualized attention and instruction. It is more than just the lessons, you’ll play in ensembles with professional NYC musicians.
That means you’ll be challenged to rise to their level, and you’ll grow accustomed to playing with the best.
Anyone at any age can improve their singing. Learning to sing is the act of developing the vocal instrument by coordinating a series of muscular movements
Voice Lessons are offered by San Jose School of Music.
We offer singing for all ages. Our youngest students (ages 3-6) develop their singing voices in our Young Child classes. For ages 7-14, we offer Intro to Singing, and Group Voice Lessons  that introduce technique, repertoire and performance in a fun and encouraging group environment.
If you have always wanted to be a rock, pop, country, jazz, gospel or R&B singer, then we have the pitch-perfect voice professor just for you
At Tempo School of Music, we offer singing lessons for young beginners and adults of ages and skill levels. Learn how to sing with our voice teachers today
