Are you ready for the most rewarding and supportive voice lesson experience you can have? We have an outstanding vocal program ready to help you enjoy lessons, progress quickly, and become the best singer you can be!

Band singers and solo vocalists have the chance to sing and record over some of their favorite songs! Intermediate, proficient, accomplished and advanced singers also have access to our recording studio, where they can record their own singles, EP’s, and records.

Band Aid School of Music is Austin’s premier performance-based music school, teaching hundreds of students from infant to adult. We are also a National Champion Rock Band School.

Whatever instrument you or your child wish to play, odds are we teach it: Piano, Guitar, Drums, Band, Voice and Singing, Brass, Woodwinds & more all taught under one roof or online in your home!

Band Aid School of Music has won more awards than any other music school in the area. We are also Austin only National Champion Rock Band School. For years, we’ve been the school of choice for hundreds of families.

James Mays votes on the Grammys. He is the creator of SXSW Underage, The Kids Are Alright Fest and Band Aid School of Music. Mays has served as production director of the Miami Music Festival, assistant production manager for SXSW Music and a producer of both NAMM’s School Jam USA and ACL Fest. As a teenager, Mays began earning his living as a singer. His performing credits range from CBGB’s to Emo’s, to London’s Troubadour by way of Carnegie Hall. His works can be heard in film, television and commercials, including one debuted by Bono as the score for Nike’s Red Campaign. In 2017 Austin City Council and Mayor named October 12, “James Mays Founder of Band Aid School of Music Day” for his past, present and future contribution to Austin’s musical legacy.
