Established in January 2013, Rata Studios (formerly CPAS) is situated in the Creative and Performing Arts Centre at Scots College, Strathmore, Wellington.
Rata Studios is administrated by Scots College and shares the same core educational values of realising the potential of every student and fostering a life-long love of learning.
Established in January 2013, Rātā Studios prides itself on offering specialised professional courses to children and adults in focused areas of drama, music, visual art and creative technologies.
Taught by industry professionals, using state of the art equipment, in world class facilities, and with strong relationships with the industry, we provide inspiring opportunities for our people to access and make a life in the creative and performing arts.
Rātā Studios operates out of the incredible Scots College Creative and Performing Arts Centre.
Each lesson begins with a 5 minute vocal warm up with kids moving around the room.
Private bookings for those that wish to often one one lessons to develop and fine tune your singing style
This is an introductory music class for 6 year-olds which provides students with opportunities to explore their musicality through fun and interactive musical experiences.
Singing classes are offered by Crawshaw Music School. We are currently the largest provider of one on one lessons on the Kapiti Coast.
The human voice is the instrument each of us already own – so all you need to do is learn to use and enjoy your own, unique instrument!
