Ballroom dancing is more than just the classic dance styles such as Foxtrot and Waltz but also other rhythms like the Cha-Cha, Rumba, Jive, Samba, Mambo, Bolero and even some of the most current social street dances like the Argentine Tango, Salsa and West Coast Swing.
Each dance has its own value and special characteristics; no one dance is better than the other; as you go through your dance journey your “dance” taste will often change based on what you feel more comfortable with at that moment.

A fun and easy dance to learn, the Foxtrot can be danced to a wide variety of music. Foxtrot can be danced to big band, swing, or 50's rock and roll.

Are taught during the week and classes vary. They are open for members and non-members.  It’s a great way to try out different dances, enhance your step patterns and experience leading/following.

Cha Cha dance classes are offered by River Oaks School of Dancing. Our group classes are a great way to hone your dancing skills! They make the perfect compliment to our private lessons and dance parties.
