Learners will be involved in many practical activities during the day including: evacuation from a smoke filled room (a favourite with most who complete the course) and "HANDS ON" fire extinguisher use. Refresher training is recommended every 2 years

Our Chief Warden Training covers the duties and responsibilities of a Chief Warden and is delivered in accordance with Australian Standard AS 3745 and your Emergency Response Procedures (if provided).Ā

To provide participants with the practical skills, knowledge and understanding of roles and responsibilities when dealing with emergencies in the workplace and to assist in developing or reviewing Emergency Plans.
A Fire Safety Adviser is required in all high occupancy buildings listed in the Queensland Building Fire Safety Regulation 2008. If you are not high occupancy then you do not need an appointed FSA. Even if you do not need an FSA keep in mind your paperwork (inc annual occupiers statement etc)
