The course is comprised of two units. Unit One, includes first aid, CPR and water rescue skills. Unit Two will determine your ability to apply the skills and knowledge acquired in Unit One to a work-related environment.
The Open Water Lifeguard qualification enables candidates with no previous lifeguard experience to become qualified.
This course ensures that staff can recognise and respond to abuse and neglect and are aware of their responsibilities with regards to the protection of vulnerable adults.
The National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) is the official Royal Life Saving Society (RLSS) qualification required for lifeguards.
