Here at the Leicestershire Craft Centre we aim to pass on our art and craft knowledge in a fun and inspiring way. Everyone will leave a course with a finished piece and the know-how to continue making more.
This class is for anyone aged 16 or over, whether you’re a regular at life drawing classes or you can barely hold a pencil, everyone is welcome. This is an untaught session to come and practise.
Our Drawing and Painting Workshop could be the option for you! Whether you love pencil, charcoal, painting or print, art is a fantastic release in a busy world. However, for many of us, this valuable hobby can become lost in the 9-5 and family life.
Develop your personal vision and improve your drawing and painting techniques by working on individual projects. During class you will be guided through each step of the studio process from brainstorming in sketchbooks and creating a composition through to a finished artwork.

This course is taught in a relaxed atmosphere and the class will cover the study of form, tone, pattern, colour and texture in drawing and painting through using a variety of media such as water colour, acrylic, oil, pencil and charcoal.
