The educational objective for the 600-Hour Core Esthetics Training Program is to prepare the student for the Massachusetts State Board of Cosmetology Examination in Esthetics. This program provides the student with all the necessary basic information, as required by the State, to operate as an entry-level esthetician performing American or European Facial treatments, makeup artistry, and wax epilation techniques.
The Core Esthetics Training curriculum prepares the student to perform comprehensive facial esthetic services, including advanced age management modalities and acne treatment procedures. It provides proficiency in a number of esthetic treatments, such as microdermabrasion and ultrasonic, as well as extraction techniques, lash extensions, fantasy makeup, and more.
Catherine E. Hinds was the Founder of the Catherine Hinds Institute, established in 1977. As an early advocate of a simple skin care routine, Catherine opened Cyclax of London, a heritage beauty salon from the UK, in her hometown of Boston in 1965 (which was later renamed Catherine Hinds, in 1967).

Waxing course is offered by Cuttin Up Beauty Academy Inc. (C.U.B.A). The curriculum for students enrolled in the Esthetician program consists of 600 hours of technical instruction and practical operations covering all practices constituting the art of an Esthetician.
The Wax Technician program is designed to train the student in the basic manipulative skills, safety judgments, proper work habits, business development, retail training, and desirable attitudes necessary to obtain licensure and competency in job entry-level positions as a wax technician.
