Topics covered will include : HTML5 vs (X)HTML 4.01, working with HTML documents, web best practices, headings, paragraphs, links, lists, figures, images, blockquotes, tables, HTML5 structural elements, setting up a document's title, description, character set, linking to external stylesheets (CSS), basic text, box and display styles, basic CSS3 styles, basic column layouts, browser compatibility and live deployment.

This course covers everything you need to get started in web page authoring, including both HTML5 and CSS. In the first half of the course, you will learn how to create web pages using HTML5.
This course looks to expand on the basics with cutting-edge HTML5 and CSS3. Students learn step-by-step how to create HTML tables and add multimedia with HTML5, how to translate page structure into visual designs that use CSS for typography and positioning.
Continue to develop your skills by applying your knowledge of HTML and web page designs, this course covers Dynamic HTML. Topics covered include: Cascading Style Sheets; controlling content dynamically; positioning with DHTML, implementing advanced DHTML features; and structuring data with XML.
