Essential areas include business structure, documentation information, contracts, working with vendors, marketing and contracting prospective brides and grooms. Part of the class and home assignments will be done online.

This course focuses on the basic skills and fundamentals of event and meeting planning. Participants will learn the practical concepts of event management, event marketing, production and theory.
Florida Atlantic University’s Certificate in Event Management’s comprehensive curriculum is based on the Events Industry Council’s guidelines for meeting planning accepted practices and focuses on the role the planner provides in delivering the goals and objectives.
