Practice will be on Mild Steel 1.6 mm to 6mm. This 10-week practical course takes place in a controlled environment and all consumables are provided. Just bring your PPE.
Training and advice from our fully qualified welding teacher will ensure that you improve your welding skills as the weeks progress.
The course begins with Manual Metal Arc (MMA) and/or Metal Inert Gas (MIG) welding, this enables you to learn the basics and develop good hand eye coordination whilst practicing with our industrial equipment. Following on from this, if you have become proficient in these two processes you will be given the opportunity to learn and practice TIG welding.
