Did you know that the White Card Program must now be facilitated in a classroom environment using face to face interaction and active student participation when taken in the state of Queensland.
The successful participants will be required to demonstrate a clear understanding of personal awareness, Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) legislative requirements, understand the basic principles of Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment along with the prevention of injury and illness predominately within the Construction Industry however is also recognised in such industries as, Civil Construction, Mining, Rail and Energy where construction activities take place.
Upon successful completion of the program students will be issued a Nationally Accredited Unit of Competency for CPCCWHS1001: Prepare to Work Safely in the Construction Industry.
Certificates are emailed to students however a hard copy is available upon request for an additional fee.
In addition to receiving the Statement of Attainment, a wallet sized White Card will be issued on the day or posted to an address provided by the student participant. The White Card will be issued by the Australian Well Control Centre on behalf of Workcover Queensland.
