The Construction Industry white card is based on a unit of competency.

The course provides new and existing building and construction industry participants with the introductory understanding and knowledge needed to commence or continue work in the building and construction industry in a safe capacity.

This training program is nationally recognised by the industry. All states now have the ‘White Card’ as the nationally recognised card for basic WHS knowledge to work on a construction site.

The training and assessment of the Construction White Card induction course are competency-based so the time of the course is dependent on a learner’s previous experience, capabilities, and abilities.

The typical duration of this full work safely in the construction industry course is 1 day.

Practical and theory training based on theoretical concepts and set tasks that need to be completed. The learner is then given a theory and a practical assessment.

Designed for all types of learners giving them access to the equipment and skills required to be competent in the practical skills and knowledge of working in the construction industry in a very focused one-on-one or small group environment.
