This course addresses the WHMIS 2015 education requirements for workers to understand the hazards, and know how to work safely with hazardous products.
The current education and training requirements that fall under the WHMIS related occupational health and safety regulations are also addressed in this course.
Note: Employers are still responsible to provide workers with site-and-job-specific training and information.
Victory Safety and Training was opened in June, 2008 in Saskatoon Sk. by Dale Ledoux. Dale is a graduate of the Saskatchewan Indian Institute of Technologies having completed the combined fire fighter / primary care paramedic program.
His original certification included level 2 fire fighter, primary care paramedic, confined space / technical rope rescue technician, hazardous materials operations, fire services instructor.
And more along with this training Dale has plenty of other instructor certification as well as instructing and emergency medical services experience.
Workplace Hazardous Material Information System training is mandatory for all workers in Canada who handle, work with or work in the vicinity of controlled products.
This course is designed to inform the trainee on the various hazards in the workplace including compressed gas, paints, cleaning products, fuels and solvents etc.
