EHS Zone provides a variety of Occupational Health and Safety courses for workers and supervisors. The training sessions are held at our location in Vaughan, ON and also in different training centers around the GTA. We also offer customized training sessions at customer sites.
EHS Zone has been approved by the Chief Prevention Officer (CPO) to provide JHSC Certification Part One and Two Training under the new standards.

Each class size has between 6 to 25 persons; power point slides with contents based on the requirements of the Occupational Health and Safety Legislations are used; examples of issues and situations specific to each customer are presented and discussed with the class.
Training effectiveness, training evaluation, including practical evaluation for specific trainings such as Lock Out / Tag Out are conducted at the end of each session.

Dust Hazard Analysis training is offered by Manfacturing Safety Alliance.In 2019, the National Fire Protection Association updated its Standard on the Fundamentals of Combustible Dust (NFPA 652), requiring all companies with combustible dust hazards to have completed a dust hazard analysis (DHA).
WHMIS stands for Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System. Ontario Ministry of Labour requires all employers to train their employees in the GHS WHMIS system.
WHMIS is a Canada wide hazard communication system which provides information about hazardous products used in the workplace. Any employees exposed to hazardous products must understand the basics of WHMIS.
This training follows the guidelines, principles and recommendations established by common Occupational Health and Safety legislation and industry established and accepted safety standards.
