Students will learn the legislative requirements, responsibilities of the workplace, information delivery, worker education and training, occupational health, recognition, assessment, and control options.

WHMIS is in a period of transition between two hazard communication regimes - WHMIS 1988 and WHMIS 2015 (which incorporates the GHS).
This program is generic in nature and gives participants a basic understanding of the WHMIS Legislation. Testing is mandatory under law and a pictorial test is conducted at the end of the program, which complies with the legislation.
