Upon successful completion of this course, participants will be able to:
Explain and comply with WHMIS regulatory requirements
Explain the importance and requirements of WHMIS education and training
Explain the classification system and use the knowledge to identify hazards
List the different types of labels and describe the main components of each
Use labels to identify hazards and follow safe work procedures
Describe the main components of an MSDS and use it to obtain information and develop safe work procedures, and
• Identify the key elements of a WHMIS program and implement the program

The Scissor Lift/Aerial Lift Training & Certification course from Safety First Training is an OHSA based program that teaches about the different types of scissor lifts, pre-operation inspection, safe operation requirements including setup, operating and moving the machine and hazard avoidance.
This course is designed to provide Forklift Operators with the necessary knowledge and skills to perform their appointed tasks safely. This course covers operation of Forklifts Classes 1-6.
Control Of Hazardous Energy course is offerd by Western Safely Consulting Inc. (WSC). Equipment isolation and securement is a corner stone of any functional safety system and is a critical component to providing a safe work environment for the work force.
This one-day course is designed for managers and supervisors that have workers that enter a confined space. Also for workers that may enter or work on a crew that has a worker in a confined space.
This is an industry response course that will provide basic training in emergency response code of practice for personnel on industrial worksites.
