This training course will demystify website accessibility and give you the tools necessary to ensure that the websites you build work for people of all abilities. We'll start with an overview of website accessibility laws and guidelines, and provide you with the key information you need to "sell" accessibility as a priority, whether to a client or to others in your own organization.

Then, we'll take a deep-dive into accessibility testing using both automated tools and manual testing methods, and discuss in-depth how fix identified problems.

Accessibility in WordPress websites presents unique challenges and remediation opportunities. This training will be presented from a WordPress-first perspective, providing actionable advice for things that can be fixed right away whether you're a developer custom coding sites, a designer building them solely with page builders and in-editor tools, a content manager adding content to an existing website.
