It includes: identifying the work requirements, work procedures and instructions for the task; accessing and installing equipment; performing work at heights; and cleaning up the work area. This unit specifies the competency required to undertake safe working practices when working at heights or depths.
Assessment
This training includes both a theory and practical assessment and once marked as competent a Statement of Attainment will be issued.

Forklift truck means a powered industrial truck equipped with lifting media made up of a mast and an elevating load carriage to which is attached a pair of fork arms or other arms that can be raised 900 mm or more above the ground but does not include a pedestrian-operated truck or a pallet truck.
It is a requirement that everyone working on a building site in Australia or works in some jobs that has certain levels of requirements towards safety, to hold a Construction Induction Card, known as a 'White Card'
This course is designed for participants to gain the necessary skills to safely operate an Overhead Bridge or Gantry Crane as described in the National Standard for Licensing Persons Performing High Risk Work.
