Door Supervision – This license is required if you plan to manage activity overseeing the entrances or exits of a premises (i.e. cabarets and nightclubs) for example, to make sure rules and regulations about admittance and roaming around the venue are followed according to law.
This qualification is aimed at individuals wishing to apply for a licence from the Security Industry Authority (SIA) to work as a security officer.
This Level 2 qualification permits individuals to work as security guards in the UK private security industry, leading to an SIA security guarding license.
The course looks at the relevant skills to work in the security industry, upon completion you will have your SIA Door Supervisor badge funded (worth £220).
This is a 6 day course, excluding weekends. The venue is Central Cardiff and is only 10 minute walk from Cardiff Central train/bus station, and next door to Cardiff Queen street train station.
