Working At Height

This short online course is for people who work at height. It highlights the risks of working at height and practical ways to prevent falls from height.

Course Overview

Working at Height is divided into four interactive modules:

• Module 1 – Learners explore common risk factors and the main causes of falls from height.
• Module 2 – Learners examine the legal duties on employers and employees, and discover how risk assessments are carried out to help prevent falls from height. 
• Module 3 – Learners are introduced to a range of access methods and equipment, then follow the story of a maintenance worker carrying out a typical task and make decisions regarding the best and safest way to carry out the work.
• Module 4 – Learners focus on the need for strategic planning of work at height activities and review a number of case studies to appreciate the benefits of good management control.
