This course gives participants the skills and knowledge required to work safely at heights in the Resources and Infrastructure Industries.
This training can be conducted at your worksite or at our purpose built training facilities. Working at heights training is focused on fall prevention rather than fall arrest.
It is designed to equip workers with the knowledge and skills to safely work in any height situation, primarily being aimed at general construction, maintenance, mining, large factories or other work situations where work is conducted in a place where a fall from one level to another is possible.
Initially operating as a forklift training provider, Foresite became an RTO in 2009, at which point warehouse training commenced.
Since this time the business has diversified to deliver additional training and licensing, yet remains focused on the industrial sectors. Key services offered are:
• Certificate programs for the road transport, civil and domestic construction and warehousing sectors
• Heavy vehicle training and licensing from light rigid to multi-combination
• Earthmoving training and assessment including excavator, bulldozer, skid steer , front end loader, backhoe loader and roller
• High risk work training and licensing including forklift, elevated work platform (above 11m)

This course is designed to give participants the knowledge and skills to operate elevating work platforms (EWPs) that are not classified as requiring a high-risk work (HRW) licence.
Workers that are expected to use Self Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA), "shall" be considered for retraining "at least annually" or more often depending on the specific circumstances.Â
