This course is designed for operators with little to no experience and/or looking to obtain their unit standards. Experienced operators will also benefit from attending this course.
This course will give you an understanding of the hearing mechanism and the causes of hearing impairment. Practical exercises will teach you how to measure sound intensity and gain a perspective of the hearing comfort zone and the range that would likely cause harm.
For anyone who hasn’t completed any elevated work platform training we recommend this course to form a good foundation of knowledge. Please note that this is not an NZQA course – it’s better.
