This advanced course covers NZQA Unit Standards 23229, 15757 and 17600. You will gain a comprehensive understanding of the legal requirements, guide you through the inspection of various fall arrest systems, ropes and knots.
With our purpose build indoor training facility, we provide practical scenarios that will focus on installation of proprietary height safety systems, anchor points, rescue plans and restraint systems. This course also cover any hazards associated with scaffolds, EWP, walkways, ramps and stairways.
Unit Standard 23229 is the pre-requisite unit before you can obtain Unit Standard 15757.

EWP training is about teaching the regulations, guidelines as well as code of practice for accessing and operating elevated working platforms safely. The training also covers practical exercises that apply and test a trainee's knowledge of the risks and operational skills required when operating.
