Fundamentals of Fall Prevention is a robust program that meets the Working at Heights Training Standard, the requirements of Regulation 297/13, and is approved by the Chief Prevention Officer.
This course provides workers with the basic fall prevention information they require to work safely in areas where they may be exposed to fall hazards. Participants receive the most up-to-date information with hands-on instruction from industry experts and trained adult educators who are experienced in working at heights.
While Working at Heights is a great starting point, site-specific training is also required. After the in-class session, the employer must train workers on the specific hazards faced and types of equipment used on the job. This course consists of a combination of classroom and hands-on learning activities.
