Working At Heights

Working at Heights training is offered by Swift Skills Academy. Learners will be enabled to implement and manage a SHE management system in a place of work. 

Content:

• Performing work in elevated positions.
• The method used to conduct work in elevated positions is explained.
• Inspecting, caring for and storing fall arrest equipment effectively.
• The need to ensure correct and meticulous record keeping is explained.
• The safety, health and environmental principles regarding the safe construction and maintenance of working platforms,
• ladders, scaffolds and walkways in elevated positions.
• The procedure required to report in terms of identified deviation from standards is described.
• The need to ensure correct record keeping is explained
• The procedure for following up identified deviations is described.

• Valid Medical – Evaluation for Working At Heights to included as part of Medical Screening
• Copy of learners Id
• Copy of expired Working at Heights certificate – Refresher course only
• Communication skills at NQF L 02
• Mathematical Literacy at NQF L 02
