Common Safety Orientation course introduces workers from all sectors of the oil and gas industry to safe work practices and incorporates Energy Safety Canada’s 10 Life-Saving Rules, which are based on addressing the most at-risk behaviors.
The course is approximately 6-8 hours in duration and includes an instructor led presentation, practical exercises, class discussion, written knowledge test, and practical exam.
Ergonomics assesses the tasks, the equipment used, and the environment in which work is being completed, and is a critical component of health and wellness for employees of an organization.
This course revisits the essentials, ensuring operators have a strong understanding of the equipment's different components and their functionalities.
This course will follow the Occupational Health and Safety Act / Canada Labour Code Part 2 requirements and CAN/CSA-Z94.4-18, Selection, Use and Care of Respirators. Manufacturer specific operating manuals will be incorporated into any course based on the type of SCBA needed.
