The objective of this course is for the students to refresh their current knowledge of work at heights.

 

Course Content

The course focuses on:

  • Roof scenario
  • Sling and anchor points
  • Fall arrest climb / work positioning
  • Rope angles and anchor points
  • Rescues
  • Disassembly

 

Learning Outcomes

At the end of this course, students will be able to:

  • Demonstrate current knowledge of key sections of the Health and Safetyat Work Act 2015 and Regulations.
  • identify control measures and associated terms for height-related hazards
  • complete a simple JSA for a given scenario.
  • Develop a emergency response plan for a given scenario.
  • Safely undertake a practical scenario at height.
