Course Details

Working at Heights Refresher has been designed to reinforce key learning outcomes of the participants’ original Working at Heights training and ensure that participants are able to demonstrate their continued knowledge of the correct use of fall protection equipment.

The Ontario Ministry of Labour (MOL) requires workers to complete an approved half-day Working at Heights refresher training course after three years under the O. Reg. 297/13: Occupational Health and Safety Awareness and Training. 

 

Who needs this training?

Any worker who had previously successfully completed an approved Working at Heights training program

Students must present their Learners ID# on their Ministry of Labour issued Working at Heights card at the time of the training.

If you haven’t completed the Working at Heights training through an approved training provider, then the Working at Heights Refresher course is not the correct course for you. Please see the Working at Heights Fundamentals of Fall Prevention schedule.

 

Course Requirements:

  • A copy of the Ministry of Labour certificate or an approved training provider Working at Heights certificate must be provided with registration. 

  • Legal Photo ID must be provided upon arrival (Driver’s license, Health card, Passport, Student card, etc.)

 

Course Outline:

Working at heights refresher training is the practical module of the Working at Heights training program (section 9.2 of the Working at Heights Training Program Standard). The minimum duration of the refresher training is (3.5) hours of training delivery
