Working at Heights training is mandatory in Ontario for workers on construction or industrial projects who use any of the following methods of fall protection: travel restraint systems, fall restricting systems, fall arrest systems, safety nets and work belts or safety belts.
Our Working at Heights program will provide participants with an understanding of their responsibilities when working in areas where fall hazards exist. Participants will understand the elimination of fall hazards following the ‘hierarchy of controls’ method.
Additionally, participants will be provided the knowledge on effective selection, use and care of fall protection equipment and understand when and how it is required.
This one-day course will also provide the proper utilization and inspection of the required equipment and the critical controls necessary to reduce the risk of a fall.
Upon successful completion, participants will understand the laws and regulations under the new Working at Heights standards and a certificate will be issued.

This one-day practical based course is designed to provide you with the initial skills needed to respond to emergency scene technical rescues. You will acquire confidence and develop skills in working with technical rope rescue procedures.Â
The course covers the maintenance and operation of an overhead crane. Course material will convey the safety procedures, legislation, inspections, and responsibilities of every operator.
This course is delivered in a half day and can include practical training if desired. It can be built specifically for your site including site rules, procedures and paperwork.
