Designed for compliance with the Ministry of Labour’s Working at Heights training requirements,
Nouvelle Hauteur Working at Heights course, provides the basic knowledge required to work safely in areas where there is a possible exposure to fall hazards as well as a comprehensive overview of ligislated requirements, hazards, and hazard controls.
Content:
Strengthen workplace safety culture by elevating the profile and importance of preventing falls from heights.
Provide workers who may be exposed to the hazard of falling from heights with adequate knowledge about fall hazards and general safety practices to work safely at heights.
Provide workers who use personal fall protection equipment with sufficient knowledge about its purpose and use.
Reduce the number of fall-from-heights incidents, injuries and fatalities.
Nouvelle Hauteur is a company of professional instructors who specialize in fall protection, rescue, rope access and confined space training. We are committed to protecting workers and employers against work accidents related to falling from heights and confined spaces.
Working at heights training is valid for three (3) years from the date of successful completion of an approved program.
In this course you will learn how to fulfill your role as a supervisor and about your your responsibilities under the Ontario law to manage health and safety in the workplace – while still being productive!
The course format has been developed to be a highly interactive program utilizing facilitated presentation, along with exercises to reinforce the learning process. During the class the students will work individually and in groups on exercises and case studies.
Our 12-week program sets you up to earn an apprenticeship as a Heavy Equipment Operator Technician, under guidelines set by the BC Industry Training Authority.
