Working with Agile Teams

As the tagline states, DragonsArm can offer Agility by Default. Agility by Default has come from the experiences of many true agile coaches worldwide. The conclusion of these years of coaching agile transformations is that they don’t work. I have seen colourful roadmaps that few understand adorning the walls of offices everywhere, badged consultants planning the next company fly-in planning session, and the word “AGILE” proudly displayed on every page of your company’s website and on every lanyard worn by employees. But if I asked each employee, “What is agile?, they would all give a different answer, and almost all would be wrong.

Then at some point, you wonder what those millions of dollars have done for you. You wonder when the promised increase in productivity will come about. You may have even seen a productivity decrease and an inability to change for an advancing market. Wasn’t that what “agile” was supposed to do? Where is the benefit? What can you point to that shows that your investment has worked? You just are not seeing it.You have been lied to; agile transformations don’t work. Many will tell you how they have “transformed”, but the facts are laid bare on experiences, not justifying the spending.
