What is a Health and Safety Representative (HSR)
The role of the Health and Safety Representative (HSR) is elected and voluntary. The role is primarily to liaise with other staff to identify health and safety issues and convey these to management. HSRs are elected by fellow staff to represent the views of the staff group.
HSRs play a key role in prevention of workplace injury and illness, and promotion of good WHS practice. WHS Act does not impose specific obligations on HSRs but provides HSRs with powers and functions.

Our History
We established our first campus in 2014 in Parramatta, NSW. Since then, we have delivered training to more than ten thousand students in Sydney and surrounding suburbs. We focus on providing quality education and training to all our students. We empower our graduates with the practical skills to help them in their workplaces.
Why Choose Vigil Training College
When you Google any of the training courses, for example, security or first aid, hundreds of providers offer these courses. How do you distinguish the quality education provider?
One way to do that is by looking at their track record and references. Vigil training college has over 800 Google reviews with a 5-star rating. We did not achieve this by accident. We work tirelessly to deliver quality education and support for each of our students. Our students are our story and living testimonials of our success.
