The Graduate Certificate in Wound, Ostomy and Continence Practice will focus on the prevention and management of patients with an acute or chronic wounds; patients with an ostomy (gastro-intestinal or genito-urinary diversion for feeding or drainage of effluent
The course will also provide you with guidance on fungating wounds, nutrition in wound healing, various methods of wound debridement and Conservative Sharp Wound Debridement (CSWD)
This course aims to provide the nurses with the knowledge and skills to deliver safe and holistic basic wound care that improves patients' outcomes.
