Candidates will learn how to select and use various types of PPE in order to safely apply first aid and CPR skills in case of an emergency. All participants will learn the basics in order to manage assessment and treatment skills for emergency or life-threatening scenarios, including the rescue of an unconscious casualty, head/spinal management, airway management, CPR skills, burns, and how to treat a casualty with a severe head bleed. Adult (Level A) CPR and AED Awareness are included with this program as well.

Certification Length is 36 Months
Standard first aid with Level C CPR (SFA/C) is a 16-hour course that includes the Duties, Responsibilities and Liabilities of providing first aid in the province of Ontario (Good Samaritan Legislation).
Candidates will receive training on all of the information included in an Emergency First Aid program. Participants will also learn further skill sets in how to deal with various emergency situations, such as, triage/multiple casualty management and rescue carries.
Adult, child and infant (Level C) CPR and AED Awareness are included with this program as well.
AED Provider (AED) is 2.5 Hours. Participants will receive training on how to operate an Automated External Defibrillator in the workplace during a Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) event.
Valid CPR certification is required in order to attend this course. This certification can be added to either the Emergency Or Standard First Aid Training Course.
