Yercaud Discover Program (9-11 Year Olds)

Based out of our campus in a expansive coffee estate in the Eastern Ghats, this program is a perfect introduction to the outdoors for first time campers. We have six action-packed days all planned out to get children curious, engaged and up on their feet as they bound about exploring the hills.

Discovering four new activities and an exposure to ideas and experiences opens up their minds to a whole new world.

4 Activity Combo: 

• Rock Climbing
• Ropes Course
• Backpacking
• Outdoor Survival

The days are balanced with time in the wilderness, on camp and indoors. Campers spend a day concentrating on each activity in smaller groups of 15–18 and under the guidance and supervision of trained instructors. Small groups encourages everyone to get more comfortable and interact with their new peers. Back at camp—creative tasks, engaging games and fun bonfire sessions keep the energy high.

Program Itinerary:

6AM Wake up and enjoy a hot beverage with biscuits 7AM Warm-up for the day 8AM A hearty breakfast to build energy reserves 9AM Disperse for outdoor activities. One day for each 1PM A nutritious and much needed lunch on campus 1:30PM Free-wheeling time to freshen up and relax 2:30PM Cool time activities that mix fun and learning, taking the experience beyond just adventure 5PM Milk, tea and snacks to up the energy levels 5:30PM Other cool time activities, de-briefing, group sharing sessions or personal reflection 7:30PM Soup and dinner cap off a power packed day 9PM Lights off, get into sleeping bags and slip into a golden slumber
