Young Musicians

Our Award-Winning Young Musician Courses series starts as young as 3 years old as a toddler. This is considered to be the best age to get young children introduced to the exciting world of music and apply inspiring music lessons and activities in group playing. This age group is known to enjoy meeting new friends and being part of a musical team playing.

Within the cluster setting they will get the chance to sing, play musical movement and dance games, rhythm with body motions and tiny percussion instruments, play keyboard or piano solos that helps build their confidence and work on inventive and note reading skills with distinctive multi-sensory comes.

The cluster setting provides the chance to play keyboard ensembles that facilitate developing a wider note reading and a powerful feeling for swinging pulse. This will also teach the way of orchestrating ensembles and listening for balance between musical components.

Solfege singing is being used to expertise melodic and harmonic ear training. Children are inspired to sing after they play to assist the development of “inner hearing” and awareness of musical flow, quality and dynamics. All note-reading activities encourage reading in patterns and phrases.

Children become attentive to chord progressions initially through singing and listening games – then as they play their solo repertoire. Eventually, they learn to use different accompaniment designs and add their own harmony to melodies as they progress through the program. They are inspired to develop their power through composing comes and lyric writing.
