At Learning Point, we believe the spirit of scientific inquiry can be introduced and engaged in at any age. For this reason, we offer a Young Science Explorers’ programme for Primary 2 students, ahead of the formal curriculum in Primary 3.
At Learning Point, we believe the spirit of scientific inquiry can be introduced and engaged in at any age. For this reason, we offer a Young Science Explorers’ programme for Primary 2 students, ahead of the formal curriculum in Primary 3.
Through interactive in-class activities, students gain early exposure to key Science concepts, allowing them to enjoy the process of learning while developing a solid foundation that sets them ahead of their peers when they enter Primary 3.
?Young Science Explorers introduces students to various themes in the Science curriculum, including Diversity, Systems, Cycles, Interactions, and Energy.
Students will have plenty of opportunities to make connections between in-class learning and the real world, while developing basic scientific process skills.
These include classifying, comparing and analysing data in the form of tables and graphs. They will also learn how to apply their newly acquired knowledge in answering questions using appropriate answering techniques.
Structured Curriculum
Our curriculum provides sufficient breadth and depth into introductory topics
Interactive Classes

Learning Point’s humble beginnings trace back to 1995, where we began in a shophouse unit situated at Thomson Ridge. Though we started small – with just five students – we had a big ambition.
Where we were committed to teaching young ones how to read and appreciate the English language. Over the next 25 years, we expanded to other locations across Singapore, where we have since helped thousands of Singaporean children learn to read.
Scientific knowledge is ever increasing and evolving, so do the requirements of students. More-so, question setters will be increasing the scope and depth of their questions, challenging the limits of their knowledge.
In every science topic at Fun Learners’ School, your child will be strengthened in foundational concepts through Factual Study and Concept Assessment. Only with strong understanding can requirements of OEQ be understood.
Students will be taught in-house curriculum devised according to the latest MOE Science syllabus, and key concepts will be reinforced by providing comprehensive notes and practice questions with detailed explanations. Classes are 1.5 hours long and held once a week.
Say goodbye to tutor-hopping. We can cover all bases. Here’s the Combined Science Tuition that your Sec 1-2 child needs, encompassing all topics from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
This programme focuses on imparting and developing the skills required to excel at the national examinations. With a renewed and heavier emphasis on concept application in the MOE syllabus and PSLE, our curriculum ensures that our students acquire both the relevant concepts and skills.
