Bayside Pottery is home to a boutique studio located in the heart of St Kilda where you can relax and create with weekly classes in handbuilding. After completing a Bachelor of Art (Ceramic Design) course in 1991 Maree opened her first studio where she ran classes.
Whilst also selling her works both privately and through retail outlets. After 30+ years of pottery experience and having gained so much joy from teaching and designing, Maree has opened her new Studio Bayside Pottery!
In this introductory class you will be shown a variety of different hand-building techniques. You will learn how to pinch, coil and join to create basic forms such as a bowl or mug. Once your piece is completed you will select a glaze color of your choice.
