International medical students (in their penultimate or final year), fellows, and physicians may apply for an observership by contacting the Clinical Education Program Coordinator.
These requests will require review and approval by the Elective Supervisor.Observerships are a temporary, unfunded appointment which does not allow direct patient contact.
Observers will not receive the educational credit that might be required from your university.
Medical students and family practice residents can apply for a clinical elective in HIV/AIDS as part of their clinical education and training.
