Jain (Deemed-to-be University) has been ranked No. 5 among the top private universities of India (India Today – Nielson Best Universities Survey, 2015).To promote entrepreneurship amongst the students, the university has set up “Chenraj Roychand Center for Entrepreneurship” that brings together academicians, student entrepreneurs and incubated companies for the study and practice of entrepreneurship. Today, the center has 40 incubated business ventures.

ISDC

International Skill Development Corporation is a Limited Company Registered under the Companies Act of England and Wales, 2006 and has its operations across the globe. It imparts a set of Skill Development activities through its structured plan and aims at developing skills for tomorrow.

The operation includes the various Skill Development Projects, Professional and Vocational Education Activities, Professional and Corporate Training, Consulting, Research & Development and other Learning Solutions.

NSDC

NSDC was set up as a part of the national skill development mission to fulfill the growing demands in India for skilled manpower across sectors; and to narrow the existing gap between the demand and supply of skills. The Union Finance Minister Shri P. Chidambaram announced the formation of the NSDC in his 2008-09 Budget Speech.

He stated, “There is a compelling need to launch a world-class skill development programme in mission-mode that will address the challenge of imparting the skills required by a growing economy. Both the structure and the leadership of the mission must be such that, the programme can be scaled-up quickly to cover the whole country.”

Tourism and Hospitality Skill Council

Tourism and Hospitality Skill Council (THSC) is a Not – for – Profit Organization, registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860. The Tourism and Hospitality Skill Council (THSC) is promoted by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) with an inclusive representation of the Government, the industry, industry associations and training institutes across India.


Tourism and Hospitality Skill Council (THSC) is formed by the industry, for the industry to tackle the low-scale skilling of large manpower forces to ensure that the industry requirements are met with the intent to bridge this ever-growing, and polarized gap. THSC is mandated to create a robust and sustainable eco-system for skill development in the industry. THSC caters to all the sub sectors of the Industry, namely, Hotels, Tour Operators, Food Service Restaurants, Facilities Management and Cruise Liners.

Our Facilities

Brooks School of Hotel Management strives to rise as an education institution offering refined hospitality education. In order to do so, we understand the necessity to offer facilities that enhance the learning experience of our students. Our modern infrastructure is accentuated with a centralized air-conditioning throughout the campus. We further provide in-house practical labs such as the training kitchen, housekeeping training room, front office training area, restaurant and bar training center, and a bakery and confectionery training kitchen.

Each student is allotted with an individual work station to master their practical classes. To explore and build upon the episteme of hospitality, Brooks School of Hotel Management has a well-equipped library touching upon a spectrum of areas for an in-depth understanding of the field. Needless to say, each classroom entails audio-visual equipment to supplement the pedagogies applied in class.

Placements

As we specialize in a professional course, we understand the need to offer qualitative placement opportunities for each student. To ensure that this process is conducted smoothly to extract optimal outcomes, we have a placement team within which our full-time placement coordinator guides and trains students to acquire the best of openings within the hospitality industry. Our students are also provided with opportunities to access part-time jobs during their course time.

Our industry further, exposes students to a dynamic work environment developing them into confident, decisive individuals who are more than proficient in the field. As a part of our curriculum, each program has professional grooming sessions for students to grow on an individual level as well as on a professional level to perform well in interviews and assignments to meet the international standards of hospitality.
