By 2030, AI and robots are expected to replace as much as 30% of the world’s current human labour (McKinsey). To stay ahead of the curve, we need to embrace change and equip children with coding and programming skills in their formative years.
Codekids aims to provide support for our students every step of the way on their educational journey. We are a pioneer in children’s coding, programming and STEM education: providing students with structured programs that facilitates a steady, continuous progression of students’ coding, programming, design, engineering, and communication skills.
In order to fulfill our commitment to our students, we aim to equip them with the future proof skills needed to become innovative decision-makers, technology creators, and entrepreneurs in the digital realm. These skills are also highly valued by leading universities worldwide and top employers in the future.
Our Courses
Students are highly recommended to start by learning coding fundamentals, computational thinking, and creative design through our Scratch & Computational Thinking program (core subject) plus elective courses, such as Coding with Minecraft.
Once students become proficient in visual-based coding languages, they will receive training in the world’s most in-demand programming languages.
Our Python program (core subject) focuses on teaching and practising the text-based programming language, and students will progress through both beginner and intermediate levels as they learn the language.
Additionally, they will have the opportunity to explore elective courses such as Make Game with Roblox and Web Development.
Our Extension program provides students with additional opportunity to apply their programming skills to real-world applications and delve into topics of their interest. Within this program, all students are required to complete the Application Development in Python course and the C# course.
For those with an interest in data science and AI, we encourage them to pursue further studies in the Python & AI course. Students aspiring to enter the field of game development can explore courses such as Godot and Unity. Additionally, we offer the Cybersecurity course for students who wish to specialise in this field.
While completing their programs, some students opt to participate in Australian programming competitions through the Game Development & Australian STEM Competition course.
Python Beginner Club  is designed to introduce fundamental coding concepts and the Python programming language to your child. Students will learn how to write Python code, solve problems using programming, and create basic programs. Students will also learn how to use Python to code
