E&ICT Academy

E&ICT Academy, IIT Kanpur is a joint initiative of Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) and IIT Kanpur. Electronics & ICT Academies were set up at 7 IITs, NITs and IIITs by Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) under a sponsored scheme entitled “Scheme of Financial Assistance for setting up of Electronics and ICT Academies”.

E&ICT Academy, IIT Kanpur aims to provide specialised training to the faculty members of Engineering, Arts, Commerce, Science and Polytechnic Colleges etc. E&ICT Academy has planned short time training programs in emerging technologies including in advanced topics of IT, Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, Electronics and Communication, Product Design, Manufacturing, Sustainability among others, by providing state of art Online training facilities.

E&ICT Academy, IIT Kanpur also provides specialised or customised training programs, both short term and long term, for students, educational institutions , professionals and corporates and provide them with certification programs, seminars and conferences, utilizing a variety of delivery methods including online, offline, cyber-physical and blended modes, in diverse domains such as engineering, sciences, humanities, medical sciences, economics, management and arts.
