About ERAF
ERAF Environmental Research Foundation (ERAF) is a not-for-profit entity registered under Section-8 of the Companies Act 2013, and was established with the aim of delivering robust and community centric solutions to both Government and private sector organisations for driving operational and environmental sustainability.
Eraf’s Primary Areas Of Activity Are:
Consultancy services in Health, safety and environment (HSE) compliance and adherence to environmental, forest and wildlife certifications for infrastructure projects
Desk and field research in areas of sustainable waste management, climate change, pollution control, and environment impact and compliances as well as developing Concept Papers for project development
Critical analysis of public policies on environment related subjects, consultation and knowledge management, and policy inputs to Governmental agencies
Planning and conducting trainings, workshops and seminars on environment related subjects among students, societies, organisations and government officials.
Developing informational education and communication (IEC) material for training and awareness, and understanding and encouraging behaviour change on topics in our areas of expertise.
Our partners and panel of experts have vast research, capacity building and hands-on experience in areas of Environment Studies, Solid Waste Management, Sanitation, Drinking Water Management, Health Safety and Emergency Preparedness (HSE), Participatory Environment Planning and Management, Infrastructure Management, Information Technology, and supporting procurement processes in Environment projects.
Our team has experience in preparing detailed project reports and action plans, Environment Impact Assessment, carrying out surveys and data collection, holding stakeholder consultations, organising capacity building workshops, preparing IEC materials, and supporting in procurement processes in the fields of solid liquid waste management, water supply and environment management, among others.
