Clarinet can be tricky to make a note in the beginning. It requires the proper embouchure (mouth & lip position) and good deal of breath control using the player's diaphragm. It is best learn from around 9 years of age.
Violin is an instrument that can be learnt at almost any age from around 4 years. Adults can also happily learn violin and thoroughly enjoy it!
Saxophone is a groovy insrtument. It is in demand in a wide variety of music especially jazz and even rock bands. Flute requires the player to stand in a particular way and hold the instrument up for long lengths of time as well as a good deal of breath control. It is best learnt from around 9 years of age. Adults can also happily learn flute and thoroughly enjoy it!
Drums are great fun to play and every rock band or pop bands needs a good drummer. Like guitar, drums are very popular with pre teens and teens.
