• We’re Joe & Lindsey, Founders Of Grain & Grit! We’re A Couple Of Beer-obsessed, Home-brewing, Family-oriented, Fun-loving Folks Who’ve Made Our Home In The Fine City Of Hamilton.
• Grain & Grit Has Been In The Works For Well Over A Decade.
• For The Longest Time, It Was Just A Pipe Dream That Would Surface When We Were Drinking Craft Beer And Fantasizing About Changing Our Lives And Starting A Business Together.
• It Wasn't Until Joe Started Home-Brewing That This Crazy Idea Of Ours Started To Take On A Life Of Its Own.
• He Found So Much Joy In The Brewing Process And In Sharing His Beer With Our Friends And Family, That He Knew It Was How He Wanted To Spend His Days.
• So, We Started To Take Action.
• Once We Found Our Building At 11 Ewen Road In Hamilton, Joe Quit His Job And Shit Started To Get Real!
• We Worked Together Harder Than We Ever Thought Possible To Build Grain and grit — From Framing The Walls To Plumbing To Painting And Everything In Between.
• We Finally Opened Our Doors In October 2017 And We’re Having A Blast Making Beer And Serving Our Amazing Community.
• We Pushed Ourselves Way Outside Of Our Comfort Zone To Get Here, And We’re Hoping To Inspire You To Do The Same.
